Suburban Electric is currently seeking a Talent Specialist who will focus on full cycle recruitment to join our team. This position will lead the recruiting efforts and be a brand ambassador for Suburban Electric. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a proven track record of building relationships, creating positive experiences, and finding the right people.
As part of the Human Resource team, you will contribute by helping candidates find a company where they can reach their highest potential. This role requires strong partnerships and communication with all levels of the company.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop recruitment strategies and collateral to attract candidates and to fill specific job openings.
Develop and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
Coordinate participation in, set up display, and work at job fairs.
Write job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.
Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates, as needed.
Utilize online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization.
Confer with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
What you’ll bring to the table:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience with full cycle recruitment
