Suburban Electric is looking to hire a Service Coordinator to assist in our Pre-Construction department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, and organizational skills while being self-motivated. Join the team and let Suburban help you reach your highest Potential!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Assists with analyzing data and creating reports for bid history, market analysis, and sales
Works with the PCS team or individuals on creating process improvements for group and company
Sets up projects with projected costs, logs change orders, creates invoices, and works with payroll for PCS revenue area
Prepares bid and plan documents, assists with takeoff, and provides needed support for estimating and engineering projects
Works with Director of Preconstruction on contract review process and tracking of contracts
Tracks all aspects of estimate requirements in CRM, M-drive, Box and/or accounting software, maintain all relevant logs and spreadsheets
Works alongside estimators, project managers and senior managers to assist with developing customer presentations
Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed and calm manner
Support, assist, organize, and communicate with PCS team members on various projects and systems
Creates and assists with new and existing initiatives to drive business development, including social media, marketing material, sales tools, account management, expo/conventions, and branding
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
A high school diploma or GED is required
Must have strong verbal and written skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with estimating software a plus
Able to read construction drawings a plus
Team player, self-motivated, gets along well with supervisors and peers
Demonstrates a natural ability for striving to bring in business for our company
