Suburban Electric is looking for a Controls Technician II that is skilled in troubleshooting, executing projects, strong customer service skills and always demonstrates integrity and quality. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Advanced in programming, basic design, and troubleshooting different devices and systems including PLCS, HMI, Motion Control Systems and more
Installs, problem solves, and repairs devices such as sensors, relay logic, controls etc.
Necessary understanding of Rockwell Software and Allen Bradley components
Ability to use multiple software platforms at a level to perform online troubleshooting, system modifications, and commissioning of manufacturing systems and components
Can troubleshoot, install, maintain, repair, program, and specify for new installation or replacement of AC and DC drives
Actively engages in and recommends ideas to improve project and department productivity
The ability to manage multiple projects by developing and executing plans to meet the customers needs
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
Industrial Maintenance Certificate or an Associate Degree in related field or 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance position; or equivalent combination of education and experience in industrial controls
State journeyman’s or master license, desirable
This position may require employees to drive a company vehicle. If so, employees must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record that allows the company to insure such individual under the company’s insurance policies. Employee must also carry auto liability insurance. Employee will be subject to the Company’s policy concerning company vehicles
